Recommended Use:
Delivering consistent, high-purity pelletised salt that supports water softening systems, industrial processes, and critical infrastructure across multiple sectors.
Meeting the demands of:
Sourced along Namibia’s pristine Atlantic coastline, Anticor harnesses the natural elements of sun, wind, and seawater to produce premium-grade solar sea salt.
Seawater, containing approximately 3.5% dissolved salts (of which ~2.9% is sodium chloride), is pumped from natural lagoons into an extensive network of pre-evaporation and concentration ponds, spanning over 4,500 hectares.
Through controlled solar evaporation:
Throughout this process, brine density and depth are carefully monitored to ensure that unwanted impurities (such as calcium, sulphates, and magnesium) precipitate before crystallization. This ensures the production of high-purity salt exceeding 99% NaCl (dry basis).
All stages are continuously monitored by technicians through an on-site analytical laboratory, ensuring strict quality control.
Mechanically harvested from crystallisation ponds
Transported to

facility
Washed using saturated brine to remove remaining impurities
Centrifuged and dried to achieve the required moisture and purity levels
This results in a clean, high-grade raw salt suitable for further refinement.
Following purification, the salt undergoes Anticor’s pelletizing process, transforming raw solar salt into uniform, high-density salt pellets specifically engineered for water treatment systems.
The pelletizing process includes:
This process ensures:
Bulk export via Walvis Bay harbour, using conveyor-fed loading systems.
Road freight distribution across Africa, ensuring reliable regional supply.
